Instructional Philosophy

Traditional Martial Arts are a discipline, which I have studied for over 25yrs. I have trained with some of the Best GrandMasters and Masters in the World.

I have tried to distil the Best of Everything I have learned over the last 25yrs. We Constantly update our teaching and training methods to bring You the Best Martial Arts Instruction in the World.

We cover all Aspect's of Kicking , Punching, Striking, Throws, Locks, TakeDowns, Weapons and Forms (Kata's). Our Self-Defence technique's are Practical.

I teach the Technique's in which I am Trained, proven to work through Years of Competition etc… and Practice. I have a proven track Record. We don't claim to have all the answers, but what we do claim is to Bring the Best out of You the Student. Be the Best You can Be.

Martial Arts training is a never ending quest for developing perfection of Body, Mind and Spirit to defeat Your Greatest opponent Your Self.

In order to progress You must Train Regularly. As You progress You must Train More. Always look for something positive in all Your Classes. Take Pride in Your Achievements and Help Each Other.

Be the Best.

If you have nothing good to say then do not say anything at all.

Never put down other Martial Arts.

Remember BE THE BEST.

But most of all thank you to the Black Belts and students who have remained with me through the years regardless of my many failings, without you Galligan's Tang Soo Do would not be the most vibrant marital arts club in the Limerick region.
